  The second week we learn about how to make phone calls in workplace environment. First, we listened to phone call conversation in the office that began with the client wanted to speak to certain someone in the other division. Unfortunately, she is currently absent, and her coworker offered the client to be directed to her voicemail at the moment. I think the material is very convenient and easy to understand. Not only it is because Coursera provides us video with transcript, the whole video materials uses native speakers, making us a bit more familiar with the native speakers accents and pronunciation. Common interactions in the workplace like this is very useful for us who is not a native speaker of the English language.

 

  1. Learning how to use related expressions to talk about arts. Such as learning the vocabularies of instruments, asking questions, asking about opinions. 2. Learning how to use certain expressions when talking about sports. Asking questions whether they play sports or not, if yes then what do they play. Talking about athletes. Learning about variety of sports branch. 3. Talking about our health. What kind of way we can ask and be considerate of people when they're ill. What kind of food that usually would be good for sick people. 

  1. Talking about jobs. Learning how to identify what kind of profession and jobs is that and how to ask it properly. 2. Talking about ordering food delivery. Learning kinds of fruits, ingredients, and way to express if you are excited for it. 3. Talking about traveling solo. Learning about passport controls, how far and farthest you've travel, and about hotels. I'd like to think duolingo is a fun way to learn language for beginners. However, I do not prefer using this app because it kinda felt like I'm playing a game instead of learning something.
