COURSERA WEEK 2

 

The second week we learn about how to make phone calls in workplace environment. First, we listened to phone call conversation in the office that began with the client wanted to speak to certain someone in the other division. Unfortunately, she is currently absent, and her coworker offered the client to be directed to her voicemail at the moment.

I think the material is very convenient and easy to understand. Not only it is because Coursera provides us video with transcript, the whole video materials uses native speakers, making us a bit more familiar with the native speakers accents and pronunciation. Common interactions in the workplace like this is very useful for us who is not a native speaker of the English language.
